The Sweet Country Band

After graduating from San Diego State, Jerry moved back to Ventura county and began playing with various R+B bands at clubs ranging from The Blue Cafe in Long Beach to Soho's Santa Barbara. He became a regular in the tri-county professional music scene playing a wide variety of styles. He enjoyed a two year stint a the Chumash Casino with the band MissBehavin' sharing bills with such bands as Malo, Tierra, and Little Anthony and the Imperials. His influences range from Joe Sample and the Jazz Crusaders to Billy Payne of Little Feat. He is currently excited to be adding piano to the authentic sound of Sweet Country.
